TERMS and CONDITIONS
NOTICE: By accessing and using the content, material, and services of BraiPerpetuum.com, you agree to fully comply with and be bound by the following Agreement each time you access BrainPerpetuum.com.
Please carefully review the following Terms and Conditions.
This web page represents a legal document and is the Terms of Service and Use Agreement ("Agreement") for BrainPerpetuum.com ("BrainPerpetuum"). This Agreement was last updated on February 11, 2021.
BrainPerpetuum holds the right to change, modify, add and omit any or all portions of this Agreement at any time.
You must be at least 18 years of age to access BrainPerpetuum.
The content provided and displayed is for informational purposes only. It is not to diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions in individual users, and cannot replace medical advice, diagnostic procedures, or treatment interventions by a medical or mental health professional.
Before you start, you need to make sure that your emotional states, any mental health conditions, any accompanying medical conditions, life circumstances, or treatment goals of the therapy you may already be engaged in, are not in a collision with the use of the BrainPerpetuum self-help program. Recommendations coming from a medical or mental health professional in one-on-one assessment and treatment is a priority, and must not be overlooked or disregarded due to seeing or reading any information from the BrainPerpetuum.com. In spite of the useful information provided, self-help programs such as BrainPerpetuum can never predict all the possible outcomes of each use, since they do not perform the assessment of user's mental health status and history, cannot ensure the users' correct understanding and correct information use, and cannot provide complete advice and interactive intervention. One of the important reasons not to delay your one-on-one mental health assessment by a professional is also that any existing mental health disorder should be diagnosed and treated as early as possible, in order to have a better outcome and prevent consequences. Never delay in seeking an evaluation or treatment from a medical or mental health professional because of something you have read or seen on BrainPerpetuum.com.
Due to the aforementioned reasons, before you use the information provided by BrainPerpetuum.com, first contact your medical service provider (your physician) and your mental health service provider (a licensed mental health professional) for your health assessment and treatment indication, and consult with them on whether to use the information and recommendations provided by BrainPerpetuum self-help program. If you are already engaged in one-on-one or group psychotherapy you should also consult with your psychotherapist about whether and how to follow the BrainPerpetuum self-help program. We also recommend that your use of this self-help program is guided and supervised by a mental health professional throughout the process of change.
It is also important to notice that this self-help program is designed to help the readers learn basic skills that can improve dealing with unhelpful emotions in their day-to-day life, and not for emergencies. If you feel in crisis before, during, or after using the information provided by BrainPerpetuum, you should immediately contact the nearest resources available to you for crisis and emergency situations, such as an emergency room at the local hospital, a crisis line, GP, or a family doctor, or the corresponding resources within your community support. You should have a list of the relevant phone numbers and addresses for each of these resources and keep this list easily accessible for you to use in case of emergency.
